I was overwhelmed by the amount of information out there. It is my hope that this condensed version will provide a useful tool for families trying to figure out the “in’s and out’s” of adoption. It is important to note that all adoptions are different. Many factors come into play - domestic verse international; open verse closed; older child verse younger child; the state you live in, the state you are adopting from - it all makes a difference!
